What is included in the Productivity Diagnostic?

The Productivity Diagnostic consists of three assessments, each with a number of key deliverables.

  1. People Assessment – This includes a Productivity Pulse survey and staff interviews as required.
  2. Process Assessment – This includes an objective review of key productivity indicators in each of the seven performance domains against the criteria of Kognitive’s Productivity Maturity Framework.
  3. Financial Assessment – This includes Kognitive’s Productivity Ratio Assessment which analyses the organisation’s financial statements and other KPIs to identify productivity trends.

Once these three assessments are complete, we conduct a detailed multivariate analysis of all data to identify the most important areas to focus on. Results are summarised in an executive report and presented in a strategy workshop, where we co-develop and prioritise improvement initiatives to accelerate your path to execution excellence.

Although all three tools use Kognitive's Performance Pyramid, they offer an increasingly more thorough view into your internal operations. The Productivity Diagnostic is the highest resolution assessment tool, followed by the Productivity Pulse and then the Productivity Health Check.

More specifically, the The Productivity Diagnostic is the most comprehensive assessment. It reviews culture, process and financial performance to gain a 360 view of the effectiveness of your organisation's internal operations. he Productivity Pulse consists of a survey which is completed by all staff and a workshop and report which deliver key findings. It takes 2–4 weeks to complete and it provides a snapshot into an organisation’s culture and productivity at any given moment in time. The Productivity Health Check is the lowest resolution view which focuses on speed, cost-effectiveness and privacy. It consists of a survey completed by one business leader and a report which highlights key findings. Results are delivered within four hours and it provides an excellent broad brush stroke assessment.
